Project description:
“Sailing Through Cultures” is an Erasmus+ Key Action 1 Project – Youth Exchange aiming to raise awareness on open dialogue, inter-cultural understanding, human rights, mutual respect and acceptance of diversity between young people in Europe.

In this project we sought to empower European youth, by enabling them to raise their cultural awareness through a mix of methods of non-formal learning and using different tools for learning and sharing information. By this Youth Exchange we provided space and time to our participants to share their life stories and experiences to enhance their mutual understanding, better intercultural communications, networking and friendship.

Project objectives were:

– to identify the opinions of youngsters from different countries regarding migrants best practice in integration and inclusion of migrants
– to counter the emergence of negative portrayal of migrants and migration in media by meeting and sharing information with young refugees
– to develop future projects ideas for young migrants using Erasmus+ Programme opportunities.
